PalliDoc enables the documentation of patient status and services performed at various locations, even if there is no internet connection available at the time. In addition, in areas with reliable internet coverage, the data can be accessed via tablet and smartphone using the PalliDoc web application. Originally developed as software for special outpatient palliative care, PalliDoc® Ambulant was expanded in collaboration with numerous palliative care teams to meet the needs of general palliative care in Germany and Austria.
PalliDoc® Ambulant includes:
- Patient admission by scanning the chip card
- Billing at the touch of a button via DTA or KVDT standard
- A wide range of modules to support service provision
- Focus on security and availability of patient data
- Local storage of data on the teams' notebooks
- Ensuring data availability on site with patients
Data exchange with PalliDoc® Hospice, PalliDoc® Inpatient, and PalliDoc® Hospice Association
If the outpatient palliative care team works with a hospice, palliative care unit, or hospice association that also uses PalliDoc, it is possible to exchange all relevant patient data quickly and easily when patients transition between different forms of care.
